Donna & Kjell are both really fun people & it was easy to think freely and outside the box with these 2 lovebirds. My 1st time to Liverpool on a wedding but hopefully not the last. They both live in Norway now, Donna speaks fluent Norwegian. Donna wasn't shy in the bedroom either getting ready (like most brides are) she had her thighs exposed like a good un & we had plenty of laughs all day long which. Kjell was very laid back and attempted all my ideas some good some bad! The grooms that just stare back at me when I ask them to do something get as much from me as they give. So if your a groom reading this dont play it safe on your wedding day - let go as most don't.
Inspired by Gordon McGowan With Photoshop shading and enhancement.I have tried to recreate a bridal scene as another beautiful painting on the walls of Heaton Hall.
In come the bridesmaids wearing a lovely deep crimson colour, followed by the bride & dad. Inspired by Keith Thompson Inspired by Jeff Ascough With difficult 'contra-jour' lighting inside I some how managed a decent exposure at 1600asa 2.8/ 24-70 A moody b&w taken on a red hot day, toned down in computer to look cold & dark.
A few from last saturday's wedding before this weekend arrives Jimmy & Denise were smiles all day. 1 of my fav's of the day, using a filter to bring out midtones and reduce contrast I love the way they are positioned in relation to each other.
A beautiful sunny day wedding at Mere Court in Cheshire. Spirts were high and everyone had a goodtime, myself included. Just a 6 hour wedding for me so I clocked off early at 5pm-nice! Not that I mind doing longer weddings but there is only so many pictures you can take without repeating yourself. I have heard of some American wedding photographers taking over 5,000 per wedding thats just plain stupido! For a 6 hour wedding in summer I would present the b&g around 250 colour corrected 6x4's to choose a minimum of 50 images.
St.Thomas's Church, Crosscrake, Kendal - Marquee @ Private Grounds I covered a beautiful wedding in Cumbria, the weather was very hot with a refreshing breeze all day long. Tim and I started at 1pm at the church, through till 9pm for the dancing at the huge marquee.
