What are your qualifications in Photography?
I hold a Degree in Photography & Digital Imaging 2:1 BA (Hons) from Reading College/ Blackpool & Fylde
and came into the photographic industry from a young age of 18 photographing my first wedding at 19 years old.
I became F-T in 2002 and continue to do so. Photography has always been my career in 1 way or another.
Tell us something about yourself
Martin is engaged to Debbie and we have a little boy called Dominic (The Dom'ster).
He is enthusiastic and continually setting himself new goals in his photography both in weddings & his personal work. Martin's photographic emphasis is on making pictures that are unique, beautiful and most importantly fun not run of the mill photographs you see on so many websites. These are just a couple of emails recently received from customers happy with my photography & design services.
What's Martin Crombie's photographic style?
During a wedding when there is time I primarily enjoy setting up shots of the bride & groom into whatever natural surrounding I'm faced with at a wedding venue & try to make the composition look different either through a pose, symmetry or even lighting techniques.I guess this can be described as being Creative through the camera.
When I'm not setting up little ideas I look for capturing the natural fleeting moments which occur like laughter, a smile, a kiss whilst the vicar organises the register.
I'll know it when I see it through the viewfinder.
Have you won any awards for your Wedding Photography?
A few! We enter mainly to improve our photographic skills plus theres a chance our customers to win £1000 in some we enter.

I am an Associate member of The SWPP (The Society of Wedding Photographers) &
The BIPP (The British Institute of Professional Photographers.
Where are you based, and what areas do you cover wedding photography?
We are based in Horwich, nr Manchester just off the M61.
Martin covers weddings in the whole of the North West, but is mainly known for his Lake District Weddings & Lancashire weddings. I do love shooting at new locations as it opens up all sorts of new surprises.
Do you design the wedding albums yourself?
Yes, Martin enjoys designing the albums and proofing them online to his clients before they are ftp'd usually to Italy where they are made up and then shipped back to the UK.
