Humanist Styled Wedding Blackpool| Thijs & Laura
Thijs Van Meurs and Laura Rathbone tied the knot at Weeton Village Hall – a humanist styled wedding in Blackpool, Lancashire. The day kept fine, overcast but mild thankfully. Laura got ready at her mother’s home in Blackpool near to Stanley Park only a short 10-minute drive to Weeton Village Hall in a silver Mercedes. 120 Guests experienced the happy couple in the field under the big tree. They sat on bails of hay provided along with hessian sacs for chairs. An intimate service began at 2p.m, shortly after the intimate ceremony Pimms were served on the lawn. All drinks, crockery & cakes supplied and arranged by the brilliant Vikki Clarke. Great tasting Wedding Breakfast food & alcohol supplied & presented by Kwizeen of Blackpool. Glorious Wedding Flowers supplied by Sonje Jones. Definitely a wedding I shall never forget the imagination, time and planning all the tiny details was staggering, Laura is a true champion and I have my doubts as to whether I shall ever see a wedding as splendid as this one ever again. Well done Laura & Thijs.
We explored a local farmers field and track road for some creative wedding photography. Then headed back to the Village Hall for a beautifully presented wedding breakfast. After food, speeches began, then the fun & games on the lawn began. There were many competitive Sac races, Croquet, swinging from goal posts, oh just swinging anywhere really! A few groups shots, then into the evening’s entertainment – music provided by dead beats . I captured the first dance and Tys provided some exquisite break dancing moves to end a perfect day for me. Everyone partied until the little hours i believe. All-in-all a really brilliantly choreographed Wedding. Pimms Table, Cake table and Cockery arranged and supplied by Vikki Clarke at www.facebook.com/cupcakeblackpool #humanistweddings
