It was a joy to provide some Mitton Hall Wedding Photography for Oliver & Jane at Mitton Hall, Whalley, nr. Preston .The day started with rain unfortunately from 1pm and had just cleared up around 7.30pm. We were able to get outside for Jane & Oliver at Mitton Hall and do her wonderful dress some justice within the beautiful grounds especially round the back. It was my 1st time at Mitton Hall I didn’t really know what to expect, other than it reminded me of The Lake District without the lakes.. Anyway the hall inside is such a contrast to the rest of the modern building interior which i can see why it is so popular within this district of Whalley (pronoucned Wailey)’ Jane and Oliver work in Lancaster and I just know they will recommend me in the future
A true contemporary country house hotel set in the heart of the spectacularly under exposed Ribble Valley. This 15th century manor house has been restored to expose its true beauty. The interior design is perfectly complimented by the historical and architectural features that this property has, creating a unique ambiance and atmosphere. The grey themed wedding was different and i always respect the bride for being different.

Fun time!! How many photographers have walked right past at this point I wonder at Mitton Hall if it looks different Im on it… We had agreed in a pre-meeting to incorporate some of the junk looking element to this side of Mitton to contrast the posh dress & Olly amongst the old tat. Needless to say we all had a good larf staging a few bonkers shots. Thanks guys for going along with me crazy ideas.
