The last time I photographed a wedding at Soughton Hall was in 2009 (Jo & Ian's) & it was sunny summers day in June. Debbie & myself made our way down to North Wales to photograph a wedding at Soughton Hall - a magnificent period building. Always a photographic challenge as its quiet dark inside with all the dark wood and many rooms. Upstairs where the wedding breakfast is served has to be one of the finest sights for me as a wedding photographer - a beautiful mixture of warm tungsten lighting and available daylight flooding through the many windows.
However it rained all day long for Tom & Rachael's June wedding hence the umbrella's but it was still a very beautiful wedding. We stayed for a total of 9 hours and finished the days events in the marquee around the back of the building for the 1st dance and finally for me Rachael took to the stage providing some beautiful singing with her brother on the guitar.
