About Martin Crombie
I
am a Full-Time wedding photographer since 2002, aged
38 born in the North West.
I have been photographing the Lake District since
i was 18 and know the main areas very well for photographic
shots etc.
With bases in Lancaster, I can be in the Lake District
in 1 hour.
I have been photographing weddings now full-time for
6 years and love the excitement of what each wedding
will bring.
I currently hold the following Photographic awards;

For your piece of mind I have full Professional Indemnity,
Public Liability Insurance in case of any mishaps
after 6 years shooting this wedding this hasn't been
required.
My Location
For clients getting married in the Lakes I can meet
you nr Lancaster, Lancashire at The Holiday Inn just
off the M6 junction 34 if your travelling up to the
Lake District its literally 1 minute out of your way.
(This works very well)
Or at my home address in Rochdale north Manchester
if this is easier, as people from all over the UK
get married in the Lakes but I also do many wedding
in Lancashire and Cheshire. Because I am Full-Time
I can
Equipment
Since 2002 I have been using digital cameras and currently
use Canon 5d's with a full range of Canon professional
lens all 2.8 glass.
My Style
My wedding photography work is a mixture of fun, creative
and reportage photography. I will not get in the way
of the natural proceedings but will ask you to do
certain things for me which I believe you will benefit
from. At a typical wedding I will take around 600
images and edit that down to 350-400 stunning images
for you to choose from. When you get back from honeymoon
youll have your images waiting for you!
I tend to get booked up early 12 months in advance
so please contact me as soon as possible to see my
full album ranges. My photography is off a high standard
you just have to look around at other photographers
websites to see basic errors they are making at your
wedding like using 1 lens the whole way through and
often this is a wide angle making everything look
too small or if they get too close very bad distortion
of heads not very flattery. With Martin Crombie Photography

Pricing
A
wedding shot solely for Hi-Res images without a wedding
album for 5 hours photography ideally suited
for a civil wedding £795 for friday
and sunday weddings, and £950 for saturdays
or £1200 8 hours if perhaps
you have a church or an evening reception planned
and some shots of the bride getting ready at the beginning.
They will be supplied on a disc to you to print from
or design your own wedding album ready back from honeymoon,
with a mixture of black&white, spot colour and
full colour all colour corrected, sharpened and edited
in sequence.
Fuel costs vary from £25, 2
hours drive, round trip) up to (£40, 3hours
drive round trip i.e to Lake District) from my home
address Rochdale
All
Hi-Resolution images an extra £350
WITH a wedding album. This is excellent value
as it represents around .75p per image and guarantees
you all the images from your wedding to print off
at your own disgression.
My
album wedding photographic services start at
£950 for 30 pages inc. 50 images, album size
is landscape12"x8.5" for 5 hours
for friday or sunday weddings or £1200
for saturday weddings 5 hours. An additional
£250 for 8 hours coverage.
This also includes between 250-400, 6x4 proofs
ready for you when you arrive home back from
honeymoon for £50.
I also ask for a £15-£25 delivery
for insurance/ postage of all wedding albums
being sent on completion or free if collected in person.
After you have chosen your images to go into the album,
and you have agreed with the design I have done for
you
(signed off via the internet) you should have this
type of album ready within 5 weeks of the wedding
returned with the proofs.
Generally my customers include over 60 images each
extra image is £15 each.
An identical parents album version is also available
for £135 each, or 2 for £250
Many of my customers do spend more between
£1600-£2500 for a larger quality album
+ extra hours, images, + extra pages required.
My geographical areas include the North West Region
that's Greater Manchester for wedding photography,
Cheshire, Cumbria
(The Lakes) and Lancashire. However I am open to offers
for the occasional wedding abroad in Spain, France,
Italy or somewhere exotic for the additional cost
of a flight and accomodationfo. I stock Graphistudio
digital wedding albums, Jorgensen traditional, Mario
Acerboni, Memory Collections and Albums Australia
books.
How To Book me
Firstly either phone me up or email me with
your enquiry at this point I can check my calender
in the office to let you know there and then if Im
available. If I am then i like to arrange a meeting
afterwards if you'd like to book please complete the
contract
with a deposit of £350.
Some customers like to meet up again just before the
wedding, often at the venue. If it is over 45mins+
drive for me then I charge a fee of £35 to cover
fuel costs, otherwise if you come visit me its no
charge.
